About Us

Before I started my fitness journey, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017 and it took a toll on me. Having to go through with surgery and chemotherapy really had an effect on me. So, after chemo is when I decided to take on my weight loss journey because I knew that losing weight has a lot to do with my health. I didn’t think that I could do it but I have a quote that I always recite when I feel or think I can’t do something which is, “with God all things are possible.”      When I started out, I walked around my neighborhood everyday from my house to various areas and surrounding towns. Then I started bike riding when COVID-19 took over the world. It was something to occupy the brain rather than sitting in the house everyday doing nothing. When it started getting cold and I couldn’t be outside as much as I would’ve liked to be, I had nothing more to do than to take my exercising to the gym.     I didn’t want to just do this for myself but I wanted to help women who have had breast cancer or have gone through chemotherapy, as well as if they are still going through it like I did. I didn’t want to just be a survivor, because I didn’t just survive in my journey, I became a survivor that made a change. I’m showing women that you can go through anything and come out stronger than you went in the situation.    When I got the diagnosis, I thought my life was going to end but the truth is it gave me momentum in the way I carry myself from here on out. It’s called the thrive after the diagnosis. It is very important to exercise and develop healthy eating habits. Now that I’ve fought my fight, I want what I’m doing to encourage and help other women. My only mission is to help get women their power back over their diagnosis, as well as, thrive during and after treatment.    I am taking action that will help us as women regain our health and strength. My goal is to encourage women in these challenging times. I want to help alleviate fear and worry but also encourage women to take back their strength.
